Con productos generados en asentamientos precarios de Santiago, TECHO recibió a cerca de treinta personas, entre autoridades diplomáticas y de Cooperación Internacional. Los invitados recibieron el llamado a “sumar sus voluntades” por un continente más justo y menos desigual.
El llamado partió con nuestro video institucional:
“Sabemos que no podemos solos en esto”, dijo el director social de TECHO en Latinoamérica y el Caribe, Agustín Wolff, quien explicó la necesidad de trabajar en coordinación para generar soluciones sustentables para superar la pobreza. El apoyo de estas redes se suma al modelo de trabajo entre pobladores y voluntarios, que trabajan en conjunto para identificar las necesidades más urgentes de la comunidad y buscar soluciones concretas y sustentables.

Los diplomáticos también recibieron la invitación a medir su Índice de Voluntad, iniciativa digital que partió el 2 de agosto y ya ha convocado a miles de jóvenes.

With handmade food produced by families from the slums of Santiago, TECHO hosted almost thirty people, including Diplomatic and International Cooperation authorities. Guests were asked to “contribute their willpower” in efforts to work forward for a fair and equal continent.
The ceremony started with our institutional video:
“We know that we cannot do this on our own”, said Agustín Wolff, the Executive Director of Social Programs of TECHO in Latin America and the Caribbean. He stressed the need to work together to generate sustainable solutions in order to overcome poverty. The support of these networks is added to the working model between families living in slums and volunteers, who work together in order to identify the most urgent needs of the community and find concrete and sustainable solutions.
