TECHO incide junto a otros organismos a través de documento de Innovación CiudadanaTECHO advocates with other organizations through the document Citizen Innovation

A partir de una primera jornada, iniciada en Sao Paulo, equipos de TECHO y otras organizaciones se reunieron nuevamente el pasado 17 de octubre a raíz de la Cumbre Iberoamericana de Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno. Este encuentro se enmarcó dentro del proyecto «»Innovación Ciudadana en Iberoamérica«», organizado por la SEGIB y que tenía por objetivo continuar aportando a una serie de actividades planificadas para fortalecer el rol de la ciudadanía a través de las nuevas tecnologías.

Un proceso colaborativo, que vinculó a estas organizaciones gobiernos, empresas y otros actores con los aportes realizados por la sociedad civil, culminó con la entrega de un documento a los y las jefes/as de Estado presentes en la Cumbre. La presidenta de Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla, recibió el documento e incluso entregó su feedback en este video:

TECHO, como organización de la sociedad civil, aportó desde su experiencia organizando distintas instancias de participación en donde líderes comunitarios, voluntarios y otros actores han compartido para mostrar, en conjunto sus perspectivas y aportes a la superación de la pobreza en el continente. Uno de sus aportes más recientes es la plataforma Comparte, en donde empresas, sociedad civil, espacios académicos, líderes comunitarios, otros organismos y voluntarios trabajan en conjunto, aportando a la realización de proyectos específicos en asentamientos humanos de Latinoamérica.

From the first day, beginning in Sao Paulo, teams of TECHO and other organizations came together again on October 17th for the Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government. This meeting is a part of the project «»Citizen Innovation in Latin America«», organized by SEGIB. Its goal was to continue contributing to a series of planned activities to strengthen the role of citizens through new technologies.

A collaborative process, that linked these government organizations, businesses, and other players with the contributions of civil society, culminating with the delivery of a document to the heads of State present at the Summit. The president of Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla, received the document and gave her feedback on this video:

TECHO, as a civil society organization, contributed with its experience of organizing different participation activities where community leaders, volunteers, and others have shared to show their perspectives and contributions to overcoming poverty in the continent. One of these more recent contributions is the platform Comparte (Share), where companies, civil society, academic spaces, community leaders, other organizations, and volunteers work together, contributing to the completion of specific projects in the human slums of Latin America.
